Bach: performance, recording, interpretation

Giorgio Sasso has performed and recorded Bach's Concertos, Sonatas (for unaccompanied violin, violin and harpsichord, Trio Sonatas) and his Cantatas as a violin and viola player as well as an orchestra conductor.

Giorgio Sasso obtained his diploma with honours at the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome, followed by the Diploma d'Onore at the Accademia Chigiana in Sienna. He is the conductor of the Insieme Strumentale di Roma, with which he recorded fifteen CDs obtaining awards such as 5 Goldberg, 5 Diapason, Prize of the Fondazione Cini and many others.

Bach's complete keyboard works at the piano

Pietro Soraci, a pianist and Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Milan, began in 2017 a recording project (released by Da Vinci Classics), with the purpose of publishing Bach's complete keyboard works performed on the piano.

Pietro Soraci was born in Catania, and he completed his musical education there, obtaining his diploma in Piano with the highest score, with honours and with a special honourable mention. Having won important competitions, both national and international, he undertook a solo career, performing at important venues and for prestigious musical seasons both in Italy and abroad. Since 2017, he has started a recording project, aiming at the release of the complete keyboard works by J. S. Bach, played on the piano, for Da Vinci Classics. He is Professor of Piano at the Conservatory "G. Verdi" of Milan.
