Bach at the Cello
Mauro Valli recently recorded Bach's complete Cello Suites, pairing them with Domenico Gabrielli's Ricercari. This produced a new interpretation, seen from an unusual viewpoint which reinforces the hypothesis of a connection beween the two composers: Gabrielli might have influenced Bach's composition of his Suites.
